
Uncharted-Inspired Level Design Project
In this level, you play as Cassie Drake. After a set piece jeep chase through rugged terrain, Cassie’s vehicle is forced off the road and breaks down deep in the Peruvian jungle. Stranded and alone, she must press forward on foot through dense foliage and treacherous paths to reach an ancient temple.
Her goal is to reunite with her companion and uncover the secrets hidden within the temple.
This blockout was created in 14 days and uses Jakub W’s Interaction with ALS - Version 3.3 system in Unreal Engine 5.4.4.

A squeeze-through interaction slows momentum, controlling pacing while maintaining immersion.
The cave provides a slower beat after the set piece before this level, refreshing pacing, and scenery.
The rope mechanic is introduced here to diversify traversal and reinforce progression.
The piton mechanic guides the player upward, emphasizing vertical progression.
A scenic viewpoint of the distant mountains offers awe and reflection, reinforcing the player’s sense of ascent.
The player uses the grapple hook to swing across a suspended wire.
Midway through, the grapple hook snaps, sending the player tumbling into a hidden cave below.
As the player approaches the ancient temple, bandits suddenly ambush, shifting the pace into a tense confrontation.
